Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, auditions for the 2020 CMB Color Guard will take place by video submission. Please read the additional details below.
The OSU Color Guard is open to all university students by audition only. You must be accepted to Oklahoma State University in order to audition. You may email Audrey Zinn for further information.
How to audition
Complete all of the following steps no later than SUNDAY, JUNE 28th at 5:00 pm.
Learn the Fundamentals Exercises and Audition Routine using the video links in the next section.
Upload TWO (2) audition videos to YouTube, and then share the links with us using this form. Please be sure you set the “Visibility” to “Unlisted” on both of your videos when you upload them to YouTube. If they are set to private, we will not be able to view your audition videos.
Video 1 should be you completing the Fundamentals Exercises as demonstrated in the video. Please count aloud as you complete the video, just like the demonstration video.
Video 2 should be performed to the music “Break My Heart” (specific clip information below). You do NOT need to submit the “Counts” version of this video. We only provide the count-version of the second video to assist with teaching the routine.
Audition Video Submission Deadline: Sunday, June 28th, 2020 by 5:00 pm.
